The painting of the internal walls and facades is very noticeable. For facades, paint does not tolerate savings, because it is this face of any home. Therefore, for the facade, use is preferable to acrylic paint, which can last for about 12 years. The most basic difference between paint and interior is in all requirements for atmospheric influences, and in addition, the requirements for light. But it is important to remember a number of other factors on the basis of which the paint is selected:
1. Water resistance of paint. The paint created on the basis of PVA has a very low water resistance indicator, and the acrylic paint has a high indicator of water resistance. This follows the conclusion that if there is very high humidity in the room, then preference should be given to paints by acrylic. If there is confidence that the humidity in the room does not exceed the norm, then you can save quite a bit, and choose the first varaint.
2. Light resistance. This indicator of PVA -based paint and acrylic paint is almost identical, unlike paints that are made on a special system – butadenistyl, in this regard, such paints lose. In addition, the last colors can be used only in those rooms where low light, for example, in sanitary nodes and closet.
3. Mechanical and atmospheric stability. Ahead of these indicators Acrylic paint. Latex paint has exactly the same indicators. If you are going to wash the painted walls in the future, then in this case it is better to choose just such paints or in an extreme case of enamel.
4. Hiding. In the process of choosing paint and its purchase, you should take into account such an indicator as hiding. The thing is that you pay not for the volume of paint, but for the entire area of the surface that will be covered with paint ultimately.
