“Gardens and Parks” were called people engaged in landscape design during the reign of the first Russian emperor, Peter the Great.The history of the appearance of such a type of design as landscape, in Russia, is similar to how this happened abroad, in particular, of course, in Europe. First, namely, in the 17th century, amusement gardens appeared, which were intended mainly in order to give pleasure to people visiting them. It is under Peter I in the Russian Empire that the first regular classic gardens appear, first located only in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Especially in these gardens, various exotic, one might say, and sometimes, together with them, were brought from abroad, and masters in the arrangement and decoration of garden and park areas were brought.
