So the summer has come. Many moved from stuffy apartments to the country. Adults arrange picnics in their sites, grow fresh greens, and the children frolic all days in the forest and on the river. However, preschool children are forced to walk in the yards, as they are still afraid to let go with all. So that they do not get bored, build wooden swings and sandbox for them in the yard. And how to do this, we will describe in detail.
Swing
You will need a six -meter beam 150×150 in the amount of two pieces for racks. We cut each bar in half, we select a groove on the site of the cut to install a crossbar of 100×100 1100 mm long there. We connect the halves of the beams in pairs (grooves up), inserting the crossbar into the groove, fix with anchor bolts, under which we drill the holes in advance. We strengthen each rack with a transverse beam in the middle, which also ‘sits’ on an anchor. Two racks in the form of letters “A” are obtained, connected at the vertices by the crossbar.
The “legs” of the racks are coated with hot bitumen and immerse in the pits of 1100 mm deep, each in which crushed stone is filled on the bottom. We add a little crushed stone into each pit to the top, thoroughly trim. The challa seat can be made from the old rubber tire, placing it horizontally. And you can use the board as a seat. For very young kids, it is better to purchase a ready -made seat with limiters from all sides so that the child does not fall. In homemade seats, make holes into which we insert the ropes and fix their ends on the crossbar with qm-bolt with ineffective ears. We check the structure for strength, roll and paint wooden details in bright funny colors. All. Children can have fun!
Sandbox
On the ground you need to draw a square with a side of a meter. Inside it, cut the ground to a depth of 15-20 cm and a sword of geotextiles. We will need a dry plate strict 23 mm thick. Of the four such boards, we knock down the sandbox frame with a 200 mm width, strengthen it in the inner corners and in the middle of each board 50×50 bars, fixed perpendicular to the boards. We install the finished frame on geotextiles. On its perimeter, we lay horizontally 4 more boards with a width of 15 cm for seats. We cut off their corners at 45 degrees and join. We fasten the boards to the vertical bars fixed on the frame, self -tapping screws for wood. We twist the sharp corners of the sandbox, sand all the surfaces and paint. After drying the paint, fall asleep with dry river sand, and you can build locks! If desired, you can provide a sandbox cover, as well as equip a canopy over it. Now your kids will definitely miss your kids!
