How to generate realistic videos with Adobe Firefly Video neural network

by marusia

Firefly Video is a video generation model that Adobe (the same one that powers Photoshop and Acrobat) has implemented in its Firefly neural network combine.

The latter was initially known exclusively as an image generator with an emphasis on the realism of human portraits. Gradually, more functions appeared: generative filling in an online format, a separate mode for vector graphics, translation of audio and video into other languages, and more.

A video generator was a matter of time, and that time has come: Firefly Video was launched in the fall of 2024. It was praised in reviews and called a competitor to Sora from OpenAI, but here the story is more like comparing any new chatbot with ChatGPT.

The service from Adobe stands out with its simple interface and a large number of settings for framing: you can choose the position of the camera, the size of the plan, the camera movement pattern.

You can create videos in two ways: revive existing pictures or first generate a visual with the Firefly picture in the desired style.
