How to increase the room using natural light

by eco-economic

How to visually increase a small room – of course with a natural light. The more windows, the more light penetrates the room. But how to be residents of city apartments who cannot increase the number of windows in the apartment … It is better to use light air curtains that pass the maximum light. Another solution is the lifting blinds of light tone, which can be lifted in daylight, thereby providing an influx of light. The so -called “fake windows” that can be located between the rooms can be another interesting solution. Decorative windows between the kitchen and the living room look advantageous. This will ensure the exchange of natural light between rooms. Everyone knows that white color is best reflected in the light. Designer furniture and interior items will look spectacular in the white living room. The use of white color in the interior is the most win -win option for European countries, but, unfortunately, does not really fit with the Russian mentality. If you are not a supporter of cold white walls, in the decor of the walls use pastel colors, against which white upholstered furniture looks good. If this option is not suitable for you – use white color in smaller quantities. In addition, white horizontal surfaces reflect the light well. Another option, not the most economical, but spectacular – to replace the opaque surfaces with glass – this will allow the light to penetrate the darkest corners of the apartment, and this will also increase sound insulation. For separation of personal chambers, you can partially tint the glass. If you use glass doors, it will increase light permeability and will be much cheaper. All of these methods work only if white or bright color prevails in the interior. Dark walls absorb light, even if the room has a relatively large number of windows. And do not forget that white interior items, despite all their impracticality, look more aristocratic and fresh.
