The construction market does not stand still. New materials and technologies are constantly invented to make certain work better at lower costs. For example, in order to reduce the costs of insulation of networks, they began to lay them with an additional layer of polyurethane foam. So PPU pipes were invented: polyurethane foam is applied to the steel shell, after which all this is placed inside the pipe made of galvanized steel or polyethylene. Such an integral design is not only of excellent thermal conductivity, but also by high efficiency and wear resistance.
Advantages of PPU pipes
This invention would not gain such popularity if not for its advantage.
PPU insulation avoids heat loss in the highway.
You can make an additional enhanced layer of thermal insulation.
Pipes are not afraid of the temperature range from -70 to +130 degrees.
Operating life 25-30 years.
The remote control system allows you to evaluate the state of insulation and pipes on any of it.
The possibility of transporting different liquids, as well as gaseous substances with a pressure of up to 16 atmospheres.
Light weight in comparison with other types of main pipes.
Full set for ease of installation.
Do not require additional measures to protect against corrosion.
Where PPU pipes are used?
The most common area of application is the laying of heating networks. For large cities where the pipes wear out quickly, and in most cases they are simply outdated, this is especially true.
In general, PPU pipes can be used for: laying water pipelines of not only hot, but also cold water supply; gaskets of heat highways – heat supply to residential, industrial and other buildings; laying of oil pipelines; organization of gas pipelines.
Such pipes can be laid directly in the prepared trench. They do not require concrete boxes. If the PPU pipe is laid in the ground, then the outer layer is made of polyethylene. In other cases, galvanized steel will be more effective. PPU pipes also significantly reduce the terms and cost of repair work.
